Jerry Warren RIP 1948-2010

Jerry Lynn Warren

Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, for Jerry Lynn Warren, who passed away December 27 in Bakersfield.

Jerry was born August 9, 1948, in Bakersfield, and graduated from Foothill High School, Class of 1966.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War during 1968-1970, and in the Reserves for an additional four years.

He was employed by Bakersfield Plumbing in 1972. In 1985, he purchased the company and was owner/operator until recent years, when he placed his son, Tony, in front position as Jerry prepared for retirement.

Jerry loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed fishing when he had the opportunity. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jennifer Warren; son, Tony Warren; granddaughter, Madelyn Warren; sister, Loretta Estelle and husband Jim Drake; brothers, Tommy and wife Melody, Everett “Preacher” Warren; sisters-in-law, Bertie Warren and Evelyn Warren; and too many nieces and nephews to mention. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Hays Warren; father, Bose Warren; and brothers, Luther and wife Anne, Curtis and Granville Warren.
